Contact PaperDeed
One email address reaches the people who build the forms and the people who fix accounts. Here is what to send so we can answer on the first try.

Email us
Write to support@paperdeed.com. We read every message and aim to reply within two business days. Include the address of the page you were using, the state you selected and the document name. For an account or download problem, use the email address on the account.
A correction to a rule or a citation
Send the page address, the state, the citation as it appears on the page and the source you believe is correct. If the state amended the statute, include the bill number or the effective date. We check the current text, fix the builder and the page together, and update the review date.
Corrections are checked against the state's own site first. A blog post or a form sold by another company is not enough to change a rule, even when it is right, because we need a source a reader can verify.
A download or an account
Tell us the document, the state and the email on the account, and what happened when you pressed download. A PDF and a DOCX are included with the same purchase, and both can be downloaded again from your account while it is open.
If a payment went through but the download is still locked, wait a minute and refresh the document page. The payment provider notifies us asynchronously, and the unlock is automatic. If it is still locked after a few minutes, email us with the receipt.
Refunds and privacy
A duplicate charge or a download that never arrived is refunded. A document you have already downloaded is not refunded because the wording did not fit your situation, which is why the full preview is available before you pay. Ask us if you are unsure.
To have an account and its documents deleted, email us from the address on the account. We keep a purchase record where tax and accounting rules require one, but the document contents are removed. The privacy policy explains what is stored and why.
What we cannot help with
We cannot tell you which document to use, whether a transfer is wise, whether a tax applies or how a court will read a clause. We are not a law firm and we do not represent you. For those questions, talk to a licensed attorney in your state. If you are a tenant facing an eviction or a person facing a deadline in court, a local legal aid office may be able to help at no cost.
PaperDeed is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We provide self-help templates and general information about signing rules. If you are unsure whether a document fits your situation, talk to a licensed attorney in your state.
